Default Secure netlist

How would I create a create a secure netlist that I could give to a 3r
party. Ideally I would like the edif output from Synplify but in
protected form.

Cheers

Jon

What do you want the 3rd party to be able to do with this netlist? If
you need them to be able to use it in any form other than storing it,
you need to encyrpt it with the tool which will be used in that
process. Ie, if you want them to be able to simulate it, you encrypt
it with the target simulator so only that simulator can un-encrypt it.

What I would like is the 3rd party top be able to use the netlist in thei
design and then place and route it. I know that xilinx do it with thei
encrypted NGC file.
