Mike’s 25 years in the electronics industry include 11 years as a Xilinx FAE, preceded by 11 years at Motorola as an FPGA/ASIC designer. As an FAE Mike won four awards in five years at Xilinx and became the Corporate FAE coordinating large multi-site programs in China, UK, Israel, and multiple North America locations.
At Motorola, Mike became a service club member in 1998 where he designed ASICs and FPGAs as well as managed such programs throughout the 90’s. Mike was the lead digital designer for many Motorola products including Altair (18Ghz wireless LAN), Marco (1.8Ghz wireless PDA), CableComm (cable modem), and several wireless systems such as CDMA2000.
Mike attended Southern Illinois University and Northern Illinois University where he earned his BSEE degree.
