Xilinx enhances SMPTE2022 IP for video production

At the opening of the broadcast industry’s IBC conference in Amsterdam today, Xilinx announced availability of enhancements to their real-time video engine intellectual property cores, with the addition of support for the -5 and -6 revisions of the Society of Motion Picture & Television Engineers (SMPTE) 2022 standard for transporting uncompressed High-Definition (HD) and 3D high-resolution video
