SysACE and append File

Hi,
I'm using the Xilinx EDK 8.2 with a XUP Virtex 2 Board for a project.
I want to save some data to a Compact Flash Card, which works fine, but
am not able to apend to an already existing File. When I open it wit
sysace_fopen it gets overwritten.

Anyone has an idea, how I can fix this?
