Default what's that book?

Hi all,

I remember there is a book on mathematics of signal processing. It can
serves as a very good review for those mathematics knowledge in signal
processing. I remembered it has a blue cover and it is quite solid maybe
500-800 pages...

But I could not find it anywhere, either library or amazon... because I
don't remember exactly its name and authors...

Does anybody recall its name and authors? Please give me some pointers?

Thanks a lot!

I would suggest you use Amazon.com to search for yourself. They give lots
of links and connections..... It's much easier than having someone else do
it with your minimal description.

Hi,

one of the earliest (1975) books on DSP had a blue cover.
It was Rabiner & Gold's "Theory and Application of Digital Signal
Processing". [ISBN: 0-13-914101-4]
Its length is roughly 760 pages. I wonder if that's the book
you're lookin' for. It's revered by many DSP engineers.

Unfortunately, as far as I know, that book is out of print.

Good Luck,
[-Rick-]

Can you remember roughly when it was published? Might give some more clues.
The only big blue book with useful bits on DSP that I can remember seeing
was VLSI DSP Systems : Design and Implementation by Parhi - cant remember
publisher , came out two or three years before this millenium.

Best of Luck - Mike

Exactly, thank you so much! Cool, how did you find it? I was spending a lot
of time either on our local library and on Amazon and with no hope... so...
its cover is deep blue not just blue...

Any rate, this book is good for me because it consists of most signal
processing maths in one book in I can have a good review...

thank you and thank all other DSPers ...

Hi Lucy,

Glad it helped. I saw this book earlier and when you said mathematics
of signal processing thought it could be the one you are looking for.
