I never tried programming the 2812 flash on an ezDSP board, never put
anything in flash until we had our own first prototype boards. But I
imagine it would work just the same as using a JTAG emulator, since
the ASIC or CPLD on the board looks like an ordinary JTAG emulator to
Code Composer Stdio.
Go to
http://dspvillage.ti.com/docs/catalo...ta/tools_flash
and download and install the CCStudio plug in for 2812 flash
programming that matches the version of CCS that you have. You can
also try Spectrum Digital's "SDFlash" utility, also linked on that
page, that runs stand alone and doesn't need CCS.
But I suggest you contact either TI or Spectrum Digital tech support
and verify that these will work with the ezDSP board. I see no reason
why they would not, but as I said I've never done it myself.
