Default Re:Power Spectrum Scaling Factor

Hello, I got a scaling factor of obtaining the magnitude(amplitude) of
signal from the power spectrum plot (i.e Power = (A/2)*Nfft, where A is th
amplitude of the original signal). This works for different Nfft sizes
took. My problem now is that when I introduced it to my signal which has
decaying factor (exp-beta*t), I was unable to get the same magnitude fo
different Nfft sizes I tried. This I know is due to the decaying factor. D
you have any idea how I can go about this.
