Arrow is loused up all right, but not as a matter of policy. The
front-office guys set up the deals and don't tell the sales staff.
Getting someone to pay attention to a credit-card sale can be a hassle
-- their salaries are paid by corporate accounts -- but I had someone on
the phone for a good part of an hour trying to straighten the deal out.
It was no help that the web site didn't work as intended and no one knew
that until I told them. Maybe if you call the 902/450-2600 number -- it
exists specifically to serve little guys like us -- you can get them to
extend the deal for those who tried but were locked out by the errors.
(902 is in Nova Scotia. Maybe you can prevail on someone near there to
call on your behalf. Try the newsgroup)
