Default my (not so) little project

Hi!

I've been working on a project and it's a kind of DSP software package.
In my work (student helper job, i'm studying computer science btw) I
work with bio-medical time series.

Back in 2004 I couldn't find a DSP Software for me and the people I
worked with, so I began to start developing a small editor/viewer and
added more and more functionality over the time, also to learn more
about signal processing. The goal was to create a non-bloated and easy
tool for analysis of time series (mainly for people who are not
DSP-experts).

Since I got many kind and patient answers from people in this group when
I started (who seems to have really expert DSP knowledge), I wonder what
you think of it. I prepared a small project site with a list of some
features and a few screenshots. Here it is: http://www.almostdone.de

So, if you like to take a look, i would really like to hear your opinion
on it - What I'm most interested in is: what would you think would be
the interest in such a program? Do you think I should make it
open-source? I've been encouraged to make the program public...

Hi Andi,

it's hard to tell from the screen shots. Can the software be downloaded
somewhere?

Regards,
Andor

Yes, I think you're right. At the moment it's just too early to release
a copy of it since i haven't decided on a license yet and in its current
state the program is still pre-alpha.
But sooner or later i will have to offer a kind of demo version. I think
I will work on that site first and describe the components of the
program in more detail and after that offer a download - if people are
still interested :-)

Thanks for your answer,
Andi
