Default LMMSE (non-adaptive) equalizer and LMS equalizer

Hi,

If we compare LMMSE (non-adaptive) equalizer and LMS adaptive equalizer i
time-invariant channel, which equalizer should achieve better performanc
in terms of MMSE and BER? Why?

Thanks.

Non-adaptive, of course. The adaptive equalizer will always be
wandering, and this impacts the BER.

Why?

Because the clueless pupils should do their homework themselves.
