Default [LDPC] Factor-Graph

Hello all

Someone said "Everyone want to learn LDPC code should read Fred's
factor-graph". I know sum-prod algorithm and density-evolution and code
construction, but I found factor-graph is the most difficult, something
like Newton's force principle(easy but difficult to understand).

May you please tell me the main idea of factor-graph?
Any suggestions will be appreciated!

Best regards,
Richard
