Default doing math for EE? any interesting/good math graduate program?

Dear all,

I am currently in a good EE graduate program. It is good. All what I do is
signal processing/communications/algorithm research. I feel they are more
math oriented. I feel if I can systematically study math more in-depth and
throughly it might be better. So I am thinking of getting a math degree too.
But I am afraid of those math professors who only talk about pure math. Does
anybody know any good math gradute schools in US that also do interesting
math in signal processing/communcations/algorithms?

Thanks a lot,

-Walalal

I would recommend lienar systems as part as any degree in DSP. By that
I mean both theoretical and computational Linear Algebra, but also Real
Analysis. Some of that complex functions theory is useful s well.
A basic course in statistics would also come in handy.

Depending on what applications you want to work with, you may want to study
Partial Differential Equations (for remote sensing and physical sensors
applications) or Abstract Algebra (for communications and coding theory).
