Default coff-files containing dwarf2

Hi,

I want to extract the variable table in newer *.coff-files that are
organized in the dwarf-format. Has anybody a better source of
information on how these files are organized, because I still cannot
believe the documents I found on that topic within the inscrutable
TI-web-ocean really contain good information.

the documents titles are:
- "the coff-file-format" ... (describing the old, pre-dwarf coff-file
structure)
- and "the impact of dwarf 2 on the coff-file structure" ...(describing
some theoretical things and not practicable where the variable-table
starts, etc... )

Well I would like to have an easy to understand detail-paper with all
important info. If such a paper exists, I would be happy to have it.

Thanks.

Regards,

Tom
