My kids know nothing about programming DSP, and they like this site a
lot: http://www.lego.com

;-)

You've got about six topics in that question. How to process signals.
How to write a program. How to use an embedded computer to do a
dedicated job, maybe. How to get information into and out of your
computer/cum program.

That's only four, but I don't want to get too technical :-) Can you
be more explicit about what you want to do?

I was gonna suggest

http://www.dilbert.com

or two of my personal favorites:

http://www.engrish.com
http://www.theonion.com

or one I visit regularly (and I learn a lot there)

http://www.straightdope.com

Cecil would fit in well here...

Hi

There is a really good book available for download on this site, but you
will need a bit of maths to understand.

Have a look at : www.dspguide.com

Hey, guys! Don't knock Lego Mindstorms! We use it to help teach robotics
(although not DSP)!

Ciao,

Actually, I should add that Gordon Wyeth and his team of RoboRoos was pipped
by Cornell's Big Red in the recent RoboCup (small-size league) in Padua:

http://www.robocup2003.org/RoboCup/T...ccerSSized.jsp

The final was 0 - 0 after full time, so they went to a "golden goal" which
was scored by Cornell's team.

Ciao,

Peter "must stop replying to my own posts" K.

I understand there's a very nice Forth implementation for Mindstorms,
but I haven't done Mindstorms at all.
