Default 3rd order intermodulation products

hi... i have a problem... i have generated third order intermodulatio
product for a satellite link...but i want to add this interference to m
16 QAM modulated signal... can some one help me how i will do that i
matlab....i got interference power and carrier power as well...with that
have calculated carrier to interference ratio but am unsure how does thi
will affect my signal...any pice of code or help will b
appreciated...thanks in advance...

the component of hte TOI that falls inband will interefere with your
desired signal inmuch the same way as AWGN.

the component of the TOI that falls in the adjacent and alternate
channels will interfere with them in the same way as AWGN....

if you already have the desried signal and the TOI as signals in
matlab...well you just ADD them together.

perhaps i don't understnad the question..
