I'm working with Nallatech BallySHARC module and I have a problem to boo
DSP through JTAG cable because it's done correctly only if I load on th
FPGA the Nallatech bitstream and not my bitstream...
Does anybody help me????Does anybody work with this board????

thank every body...

Dario

Did you ask technical support at Nallatech? What did they say?

Nallatech support didn't answer to my question.
I don't know what i can do.

Mmmhhhh.... I dont' know that board at all, so i am just wondering.

Maybe the FPGA interfaces to the JTAG pins on the DSP too, and it's
default bitstream has what it takes to CORRECTLY letting you use a JTAG
cable for programming the DSP.

Could you verify that?

Are the schematics available to you?

The schematics are not available and i can't recompile the nallatec
project because it's incomplete. I think that the documentation it'
incomplete about JTAG or other required feature for the FPGA.
It's possible some kind of reverse engineering on the bitstream?

The landscape is not too appealing...

Maybe the people at comp.arch.fpga (which you can acces from
www.deja.com) can be of better help.

I hope you can get it done!
