Announcing my new book, "Foundations of Digital Signal Processing:
Theory, Algorithms and Hardware Design". The book is intended both for
the novice and the expert in DSP. It assumes a bare minimum of
mathematics, and so has detailed introductory chapters on linear
systems, calculus, differential equations and programming. Later it
discusses convolution and correlation, Fourier and Fourier processing,
Laplace, sampling, IIR, FIR and adaptive filters, and the design,
construction and programming of real-time DSP systems using Freescale
DSP devices.

The book also comes with a CD, containing 30 Windows programs, (source
and exe files), for doing such things as FFT, Laplace transforms of
systems, FIR, IIR and adaptive filter design, differential and
difference equation solving, real-time spectrum analyzer using the
soundcard, waveform synthesis using the soundcard, etc, etc. The book
is published by the IEE.
