So far so good.

Alright, go ahead...

snipped lots of more general questions, provocative statements and
questions about all and everything in general (like "Do you know about
anything where I could use DSP for...?").

Alright. Thank you very much for the invitation. I'm quite happy with
this informative, helpful and (most of the times) even nice community
here. PLEASE stop writing your postings to "come join the group I
created " (sparsely camouflaged as real content) every second day.
Please. In my opinion it is quite ok to have a message about some new
newsgroup or forum or whatsoever, even a second one after some time.
But if not all the people are following you I can't see the point in
spamming that group with the same message (although very creatively
wrapped in a different style every time) again and again. Oh, by the
way: Why not just use THIS group here to discuss the topics in DSP you
are interested in. If you are not sure if this is the right place, why
not have a look at the group's name. Or even ask some people.
But please... (breathing deeply, now far more relaxed...)
Oh, sorry I don't want to short-cut you or offend you (I don't even
know you, so that would be unfair). So if you could tell us what is the
big difference between your group and comp.dsp, or where is the big
advantage to have another group dealing with the very same problems,
please go ahead. If there is no, I can't see the point in splitting the
community and having several places to ask for information, if you
could have one distinctive, easy to find and effective source of help.
Like this newsgroup here.
With best regards
