FPGACamp is a community event, put together with the sole idea of bringing the engineers, users & vendors together. We intend to keep the event FREE for both the attendees and demonstrators. This is a challenging task and we will do our best to keep it that way. However we do need your support to keep it this way, so chip in any way you can. Let us focus on technology and not money !!
Speaker Guidelines:
- Please keep your presentations relevant to the theme of the event
- No marketing slides please, we are trying to keep the event technical. You are free to pitch any market at the FREE booth provided
- Do not mention another competitor directly in the presentation, to avoid rough moments (like comparing your price against your competitors)
- We will need the slides after the event to be posted to the users
- Slides should contain FPGA Camp Logo (download)
- Provide some time for Q&A
- Please create a online profile at http://www.fpgacentral.com/user . This is the profile that we will publish in the event description, so be as detailed as you can.
Booth Guidelines:
- Getting a booth is completely FREE.
- Our users would like to know who is exhibiting (demo) at the event. If your company is already not listed in FPGA Central (http://www.fpgacentral.com/vendor/directory ), please do so. Listing your company is completely free and easy – start at http://www.fpgacentral.com/add
- We recommend you write at least one article to be published at FPGA Central. It is recommended that you write something related to the theme of the event. Article guidelines are available at http://www.fpgacentral.com/about/article-submission-guideline
- Mention on your site & to your users (email) that you would participate in the FPGA Camp.
- We soon will offer virtual booth for all the users of FPGA Central (world-wide) on demand 24 hrs a day. If you are interested in having a virtual booth, please provide a video in any format. More details coming soon.., and yeah it is FREE.
On the day of the event (Booths)
- The event is community support, which means the FPGA Camp will not be able to provide any support to you. We will allocate a space(table) for your booth, you need to setup your own booth, and all logistics related to it (including pulling out your own table, power strip, table cloths etc.)
- Keeping the community spirit, please help wrapping up the booth and putting back the table to the original place it was pulled from
- We encourage you to give away raffle prize during the event.
Buy Food:
- Engineers love food. If you wish you can buy the audience food, we are sure they would appreciate that.
- Will be mentioned as a sponsor for food during the event
- Provide you 2 mins of fame in front of the audience
- No alcohol allowed
- We can help you with the food logistics, if you would like us to help talk to us.
- Help out with wrapping up (if you are handling your own logistics)
