Logic Analyzer Basics
Logic Analyzers are an essential piece of test equipment for debugging
digital designs. This seminar will cover the fundamentals of Logic
Analyzers, from key questions like "when would I use a Logic Analyzer"
to "what is a timing/state analyzer and how does it work". The seminar
will also cover areas like probing and cross correlation between
Oscilloscopes and Logic Analyzers. Engineers who are new to Logic
Analyzers, or engineers who may just want a refresher, will find this

Joel Birch is a senior applications engineer for Agilent Technologies,
currently supporting customers that develop high speed digital silicon
and systems. He has worked for HP/Agilent for 28 years in
manufacturing, technical support and marketing, and in field
applications engineering. He supports customers using real-time
oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, and protocol analysis test equipment.
