Multiple Access Communications (MAC) Ltd specialises in the design of signal processing hardware and software for wireless applications. We have completed many successful designs for a wide variety of air interfaces (such as GSM/EDGE, cdma2000, and W-CDMA) using both FPGAs and digital signal processors (DSPs). We can provide a complete turnkey design or we can support your existing design resource. MAC Ltd also offers a wireless baseband platform, known as the Advanced Signal Processing Engine (ASPE), which can digitize intermediate frequency signals at up to 200MHz and provides an XC2V1000 and a TMS320C5509 to process the sampled signal. The ASPE can also generate quadrature baseband signals and can accept up to 512Mbytes of SDRAM for memory intensive applications. The ASPE is supplied with a software development kit for you to develop your own applications or we can provide a fully customised solution.
