Duma Video is a proven leader in MPEG compression technologies. Our state-of-the-art DV-P MPEG-2 PCIX encoder card and soon to be released DV-E MPEG-2 embedded board are revolutionary in size, power, and delay; yet still provide excellent quality real-time video. The encoder is built around a single Xilinx FPGA, which can also be licensed as an IP core. The DV-X IP core is perfect for customers who must integrate the encoder into their own solution. We provide design services to those who require internal chip modifications. The FPGA based design is flexible and the IP core is easily modified to suit users needs. This eliminates the large re-spin cost traditionally associated with ASIC based designs.
