Virtex-2 Pro 50 and selected speed grade.
The board is shipped with a 256 MB DDR2 SDRAM SO-DIMM. The board can support up a 1 GB DDR2 SDRAM SO-DIMM. A custom version of the PCI Express Reference Design is needed to support any size other than 256 MB..

High-speed, impedance-controlled Expansion Card Connector ( Samtec MIS-095-01-L-D-K). The Expansion Card Connector is specifically designed to support a full stream of x8 PCI Express data at 64 bits wide, 125 MHz, DDR clocking. The Expansion Card Connector can be used to attach an application-specific expansion card. An
expansion card enables the PCI Express Development Board to implement a complete three-port application (PCI
Express Port, SDRAM port, custom port). The board comes with a Loopback Connector which plugs into the Expansion Connector. The Loopback Connector is used to test the Expansion Connector during the board self -test.
Cable Header for logic analyzer or other system board. The board comes with a Loopback Cable which plugs into the Cable Header. The Loopback Cable is used to test the Cable Header during the board self -test.
JTAG Connector for programming the FPGA Configuration PROM or directly the Virtex-
2Pro. The Xilinx ChipScope tool also uses the JTAG connector.
