2910A Microprogram Controller
"The CAST C2910A Microprogram Controller core is an address sequencer based on the original AMD2910a that controls the sequence of execution for the microinstructions stored in microprogram memory. The core can sequentially access the microinstructions, and it provides conditional branching to any microinstructions within the 4096 microword range. In addition, a 12-bit 9-deep LIFO stack provides a microsubroutine return linkage and looping capability. The core is partitioned into modules. Available under the terms of the SignOnce IP License.
