Replacing job indecision

Hi,
I started working in an international company (a good place and conditions) as
verification engineer few months ago. Most of the work is debugging tests and checkers
that have been written by other people. And there is requirement to change those checkers
and tests according to new changes the logic designers do.
Actually my job is debugger man.
I have a job offer from another company (very famos and internetional as well) as an FPGA engineer.
The job is to take the code of asic designers and to fit it to FPGA in order to do validation.
I am confused. I am not shure that the second job is better than the 1st.
My purpose is to do something more intersting. Actually I wish to be designer from scratch but I do not find a job like that.
Is the job that I work on now is better than the FPGA job?
What job is more prestigious ?
What is more interesting?
Thanks, Sam

You should take the new FPGA job

I think you should take the new job. The reason being the new job seem to have a much better profile, as being an FPGA engineer you would learn a lot of things. Even thou it is just converting an ASIC into FPGA, it is a lot of learning about the FPGA architecture itself.

Do you think that I should

Do you think that I should keep looking for job as a logic designer?
The above FPGA job is prototyping and I'm not sure it is interesting. But maybe I'm wrong.
I worked in the past as a logic designer and I like designing things.
On the other hand, all jobs that I find is prototyping (The above FPGA engineer).
Do u think that I should take the FPGA engineer job anyway?
It is very famous company.
I consider staying in the current company that is famous as well (Verification engineer).
I hate debugging things that other people have designed.
Another thing is that most of logic designer jobs (those that I wish to work in) are exist in small companies, and I
want working in large company. In large companies I do not think that jobs as logic designer exist. Actually most of jobs are as FPGA engineer, Verfication...
I'm so confused that I do not know what to decide.
Can u give me more details on the prototyping job?

Thanks,
Sam
