Introduction to FPGA, CPLD and ISE - Pune, India
This course is an introductive class of FPGA and CPLD fundamentals. There are essentially two parts in this class. The first part is on none-vendor specific CPLD / FPGA knowledge that covers general PLD architecture, general PLD design flow, VHDL and Verilog language. The second part is on Xilinx FPGA and CPLD offerings. Device architecture, market position, key features and typical application of each Xilinx PLD family including Coolrunner II CPLD, Spartan 3 FPGA, Virtex4 FPGA and Virtex5 FPGA are introduced. In this part, Xilinx ISE which is an integrated software tools for Xilinx PLD design is also introduced.
