Symbol Modeler

Creates symbols for multiple EDA tools from data supplied by the FPGA Design tool. It can automatically create complex, heterogeneous symbols from PDF datasheets, Pin files, PAD file, CSV Files, etc. Can export to DxDesigner , Orcad Capture or Cadence Capture, etc.

Symbol Modelerâ„¢ intelligently extracts from the vendor data sheet content and relationships including full tables, correlating and verifying the information. Higher level of context extraction includes advanced columnar and table extraction. Constructs such as bussing, termination, differential pairs, power levels, and parametric constraints are captured and maintained.

Symbol Modelerâ„¢ accepts electronic files from the FPGA vendor that are used to quickly ( minutes not days ) generate the asymmetrical / heterogeneous schematic symbol sets. Critical design intent such as busses, differential pairs, net properties and design constraints are identified and passed along to the layout and SI tools.

Symbol Modelerâ„¢ generates full asymmetrical symbol sets for the major EDA vendor formats. This includes support for Mentor Graphics DX-Designer, and Cadence Design Systems including both Concept and Capture (OrCAD) Systems.
