Linear Technology Corporation This application note provides an extensive guideline for the thermal performance of the LTM4601 ?Module. The LTM4601 is characterized with and without heatsinking over an extended operating temperature range. De-rating curves are derived with the different heatsinking types, and the equivalent ?JA (thermal resistance) is derived. The different ?JA parameters are tabulated with reference to the different test conditions.
