DUTIES:

As an Auditor for the DOE OIG, you will conduct performance and financial audits perform systematic examinations and appraisals of financial-related records, reports, management controls, and policies and practices which reflect the financial condition of DOE organizations and activities, contractors, and grantees, including state and local governments, laboratories, universities, and private industrial and business operations.

You will be responsible for preparing work papers/reports to document the audit process including audit objectives and related conclusion, deficiencies, and recommendations for corrective action. You will also assist higher level auditors in determining areas of high risk to focus on during the audit, and other related assigned duties.

The Content and Product Initiatives Manager will help develop online legal products for all types of transactional attorneys in Texas and nearby states.

To work with a multi-disciplined team of content developers, product managers and external consultants, while engaging with marketing, sales and business owners, to deliver a compelling offering for general transactional attorneys practicing in Texas and nearby states.
To help deliver a compelling and all-purpose practical guidance legal product offering across targeted markets as a member of a multi-disciplined team of content developers, product planners, IT specialists, external consultants, and marketing and sales reps.
To identify, develop, organize, edit and/or write practical guidance type content necessary to the product offering.
To support expert authors contributing content to the product offering.
To assist in the design of the product offering's customer interface application, customer facing messaging/marketing, sales and customer training.
In summary, this role will work on all customer facing aspects for the product offering including: practice areas and topics, formats, need for contributing experts, creation and direction of content, content reviews by customers, customer facing messaging/marketing, sales and customer training.


Detailed Role Description:


Facilitate action by working with a cross functional team to execute on the product content and product development strategies. Maintain and manage relationships with key stakeholders to negotiate resources, deadlines, project trade-off decisions as appropriate .
Recruit external authors and contributors to produce content for solution.
Develop content and work product that supports the concepts and strategy of a product for transactional attorneys practicing in Texas and nearby states.
Review, edit and write original content for Lexis Practice Advisor. Provide analytic review of existing content by editing and writing practice area focused information.
Assist in process to ensure that customers are satisfied with the performance of practice area specific LexisNexis content and products. Monitor competitiveness of product and analyze customer feedback, proposing changes to create broader business opportunity and customer satisfaction. Benchmark new opportunities for existing content and services to ensure resources are correctly allocated.
Manage costs and resource allocation against assigned budget.
Involvement in demonstrating product to customers by gathering and acting upon customer feedback in relation to all product/content developed.
Identify new commercial opportunities and ways of packing content and products together.


Basic Qualifications:


Attorney with 5 years of practice experience who is actively licensed with the Texas bar and has practiced in any one or more of the following transactional practice areas: Energy, Oil and Gas, Upstream, Midstream/Pipeline, Alternate and Renewable Energy, Oilfield Services, Commercial Transactions, or Joint Ventures who also has deep knowledge of trends and workflow in the Texas market.
Candidate must hold an active license with the Texas bar and reside in either the Houston metropolitan area, Dallas metropolitan area or Austin metropolitan area.
Strong, practical writer with experience in drafting client newsletters/alerts, law journals, practical guidance, CLE presentations or other legal writing.
Strong network of external people and programs that could inform direction of product. Top-notch communication and presentation.
Proven ability to partner in developing, enhancing and communicating product/solutions strategies.
